If you are sending us any important information or anything that requires our urgent attention by e-mail, or have sent us anything recently and not received a response please call us on 01872 270074 to verify that we have received it.
Want to be part of the main Teenage Rampage team? Want to lead the team in your local area and work with your local heat winning act?
Teenage Rampage are looking for enthusiastic people to act as Area Coordinators. They need one Area Coordinator to work with them around each regional heat (including one in Cornwall). That’s 8 all together!
If you want a great opportunity to play a central part in the Teenage Rampage Summer Tour 2010, connect with other people across the South West, and gain great experience through Teenage Rampage all the way to the big gig at the Bristol Festival in September and beyond then visit the Teenage Rampage Apprenticeships page for full details.
We would very much like to draw your attention to this new course presented by Music Industry Education.
Written and presented by William Goodchild a highly regarded Bristol based composer and orchestrator, it will cover aspects of music’s aesthetic role in film, how it can be commissioned, crucial relationships that a composer needs to develop, and a look at how the component parts of music for film and TV fit and work together. Key roles will be discussed including: broadcaster, production company, producer/director, editor and composer.
The course will also look into business matters such as fees, contracts, copyright, publishing and royalties, with information about a variety of supportive industry bodies, and discuss the impact of library and production music on the commissioning process and how this fast-developing strand can be useful for composers, creatively and financially.
This will be developed further in follow up sessions as part of Music Industry Education’s focus on the world of synchronisation and music for film, TV, ad’s, brands and games including a direct link to international trade missions.
This first short introductory course will be held at the Colston Hall from 6pm til 9pm on Wed 16th June.
