Youth Fest at The House, St Austell – 25th August 2010

On 25th August 2010, a team from CYMAZ Radio was invited to The House Youth Centre in St Austell, one of our first CYMAZ Radio Hubs, to cover the activities at their Youth Fest event.

Despite the appalling weather (torrential rain in August!), the event was well attended by local young people who were able to enjoy live music, DJ and animation workshops, street art activities and learn street dance, juggling and circus skills, not to mention face painting and a basketball competition!

Congratulations to Andy Osborne and Kate Heath who organised the day and to all the staff and volunteers at The House who made it such a success.
