Projects

CYMAZ engages with many other organisations in programmes of work throughout Cornwall. We are always seeking new partnerships and ways to build on and complement existing provision. Here are some of the partners and strands of work we are developing throughout 2011-2012.

Youth Cornwall  – youth centre settings around Cornwall and rural isolated communities (other partners are involved in the mobile provision and community development model – see the section about DCMS Rehearsal Spaces)
Caradon Short Stay School - regular music making to support curriculum across the school to aid young people’s learning and development
Carefree -  work aimed to provide young people in or leaving care the chance to develop musical, personal and social skills through a range of opportunities 
The House Youth Project – St Austell, progressive music making and rehearsal space and supporting 4 CYMAZ nights to platform young talent, supporting young people to make radio shows for CYMAZ Radio
Livewire Youth Music Project – Saltash, progressive music making and rehearsal space supporting 4 CYMAZ nights to platform young talent, supporting young people to make radio shows for CYMAZ Radio and helping to deliver in 3 isolated communities with the mobile resources
