CYMAZ Radio Hubs
The aim is to establish sustainable CYMAZ Radio Hubs run by and for young people. CYMAZ currently has three Radio Hubs at The House in St Austell, Livewire Youth Music Project in Saltash and Humphry Davy School in Penzance and will be developing five more around the county by the end of 2010.
The CYMAZ Radio Hubs will enable teams of young people to gain the skills and knowledge they need to create and produce radio content without a CYMAZ Music Leader but with the support of volunteers and Hub venue staff. Accreditation can be offered to participants as a 12 week training course. A CYMAZ Radio Hub could be a school, a youth centre or other youth organisation/project. We aim to have 10 Radio Hubs by March 2011 covering a wide geographical area across Cornwall. Contact us if you are interested in becoming a CYMAZ Radio Hub.
