Come and join in our summer singing and song writing workshops at Hall for Cornwall. Open to young people of all abilities, you don't need to have a fantastic voice or be able play an instrument to join in.

DIETER STRAUB (Local Songwriter, Rapper and Singer) and VICKY ABBOTT (Vocal Teacher and frustrated songwriter) seek like-minded young people for two sessions of SONGSHARING, VOCAL TRAINING and WRITING. We'll set a song writing task and give you some support whilst you express yourself. Bring an instrument if you have one. Please note: THIS IS NOT A ROCK WORKSHOP!
Come along to a fantastic day of singing at volume this August! With help from Tim Yealland (English Touring Opera) we'll take Mozart's Magic Flute apart, re-style, remix and then perform it! Participants will learn music from the opera and become some of Mozart's strange characters - you could be a bird-catcher, a hero, or an extremely shady Queen of the Night! This workshop will be fast, furious and fun involving singing, drama and movement. The workshops are suitable for young people with or without previous experience. Ps. Watch out for the giant snake!
